Last Wednesday night saw the largest crowd ever for an All-Stars game gathered together to watch the best baseballers in Australia face off against some of the best ball players from around the globe.
This year Levi’s® was stoked to present the Music Sessions component of the game.
Adding to the spectacle and full night of entertainment – there were fireworks, cheer leaders, Budweiser beer, dogs, BBQ and not to mention amazing live performances by The Delta Riggs who opened the night with their kick arse rock vibes, Saskwatch who sang the National Anthem in one of the best versions we have heard to date, and Aussie rock legend – Tim Rogers who belted out his very own renditions of ‘Take Me Out To The Ball Game’ – followed by ‘Sweet Caroline’ in true theatrical style.
The weather was balmy and the near end of year cheer filled the air as crew from all walks of life got into the fun and energy of the game.
American Baseball is still a relatively new and emerging sport in Australia, so it was great to see so many supporters – both new and existing come out to support this annual event – now in its fifth year.
In a thriller game, Team Australia was again victorious over the All-Stars Team. Go Aussies!
