On the back of the Auckland and New York launch of the 505™C – Sydney also got some Levi’s® love when we pulled into town last Wednesday.
Booking out a private warehouse in Waterloo – the event saw around 1,000 keen Levi’s® and music fans brave the rain and ready to see some great live music and welcome the arrival of the new 505™C jean.
The 505™ jean comes from strong rock pedigree and was worn by the likes of Deborah Harry, The Ramones and Iggy Pop in the ’70s.
It’s now been re-invented as the 505™C (customised for today) and is tougher and meaner than ever.
Ecca Vandal opened the nights proceedings with a killer set that got the room jumping.
Harts followed and just did his thing – which is nothing short of putting on an amazing performance which always leaves the crowd wanting more from this young talent.
Elliott from The Delta Riggs was on the decks cranking out an array of banger tunes throughout the night that saw the crowd settling in and enjoying the casual vibes.
The Levi’s® denim installation was a huge hit – with jeans being snatched from the ceiling in a matter of minutes. Crew were also prepared to wait for up to an hour for a complimentary haircut provided by our wonderful mates at Sailor Jerry.
A big shout out to the rad guys at Young Henry’s who provided the icy cold beer for the night as well as Sailor Jerry and Smirnoff who were also were kind enough to provide us with their delicious spiced rum and vodka respectively.
