Levi’s® are stoked to announce that we have recently partnered with Tram Sessions to bring you the next batch of live music performances across the trams of Melbourne.
“We’re chuffed to announce Levi’s® as a new friend of Tram Sessions. It’s been a long journey since we started five years ago. Who would have thought we would go from using broom sticks as boom mics to having some of Australia’s top acts on trams and 200,000+ video views/month! Celebrating this anniversary with such a music orientated company as Levi’s® is therefore even more exciting.”
Nick Wallberg, founder of Tram Sessions
The partnership kicked off two weeks ago with the first session starring none other than Melbourne local legend REMI, who brought his smooth hip-hip sounds to the #86 tram route – kicking off at Northside Records in Gertrude Street, Fitzroy beforehand.
Joining us next week on the next Levi’s® journey will be Lurch & Chief with other acts to follow such as Forest Falls, The VANNS, Tiny Little Houses to name a few.
I’m really happy to be getting involved with the guys from ‘Tram Sessions’ – not only from a music angle in giving artists a new way to get their music to an audience at a grass roots level, but I am also excited by the concept itself. It’s such an innovative approach in bringing music to the community in such a fun, unique and intimate way.
